Holly Miller, M.D., vice president and chief medical information officer of Cleveland-based University Hospitals, was selected to serve on state and national task forces on health information technology. As a member of the Public Programs Implementation Taskforce of the National Governors Associations State Alliance for e-Health, Miller, who declined to provide her age, will help state officials working to further electronic health information exchange in publicly funded health programs. In Ohio, she has been asked to serve on Ohio Gov. Ted Stricklands Health Information Partnership Advisory Board, an effort bringing together professionals from the public and private sectors to address health IT issues and develop a statewide health IT infrastructure.
