With the baby boomers retiring with their 401k plans and other investments, I expect the government to tap into that money by setting a means test to receive basic Medicare, and above a certain income you would pay an additional amount to help offset the costs. They may make that contribution non-taxable as you draw it out of your annuities.

Maybe its time to end Medicare Advantage
Perhaps it is time to rid Medicare of the Medicare Advantage program. Medicare fee-for-service is far less expensive to run than the Medicare Part C, or Medicare Advantage, program. We should treat the sick elderly not the insurance industry.
