BridgeHealth International, a Greenwood Village, Colo.-based company linking healthcare payers and patients to its network of international healthcare providers, has purchased New York-based Medical Tours International, a healthcare-concierge service that coordinates care for patients seeking overseas treatment.
Terms of the deal are not being disclosed, but the agreement calls for Stephanie Sulger, former president and chief executive officer of Medical Tours International, to become vice president of BridgeHealths consumer division.
Founded in 2007, BridgeHealth works with medical providers in a variety of countries, including China, India, Mexico and Singapore, according to a company spokesman. -- by Shawn Rhea
