Irwin Studen has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Bethesda, Md.-based GetWellNetwork, a provider of inpatient Internet and communications services.
Studen, 47, comes to the company from a consultant role with the private equity firm, GTCR Golder Rauner of Chicago, whose investments include healthcare and information technology companies, according to a news release by GetWellNetwork. He has also served as senior vice president and CFO for SXC Health Solutions, a provider of software and application service provider systems for the managed-care and pharmacy benefit management industries.
Studen holds an MBA from the Columbia Business School, New York, as well as bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from Columbia's School of Engineering and Applied Science, the statement said. -- by Joseph Conn / HITS staff writer
