The National Governors Association is accepting nominations for a taskforce of the State Alliance for e-Health, a group established in late 2006. Applications are due Feb. 20, the association said.
Membership is a one-year term beginning in March, and participants are expected to attend taskforce meetings in person. Candidates should be experienced with healthcare privacy and security issues at the state and federal level, according to the Washington-based organization of governors.
The e-health alliance, a collaboration of state leaders, is expected to make regulatory and information technology recommendations early this year based on reports by its healthcare practice and health information protection taskforces.
