Robert Kaplan has been named vice president for information systems at the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care, West Des Moines, Iowa.
Kaplan, formerly the chief information officer at the National Committee for Quality Assurance in Washington, D.C., succeeds Kay Campbell, who served as interim vice president for information systems and is the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care's director of special projects.
Kaplan, 57, joined the IFMC in mid-December 2007 and oversees data operations, knowledge management, company-oriented technology and applications. -- by Melanie Evans / HITS staff writer
