William Shields has been named chief executive officer of Artromick International, the company announced.
Shields, who declined to disclose his age, takes over at the medication management and healthcare technology developer from founder J.M. Romick, who is retiring but maintaining a presence on the board. Shields served previously as senior vice president of strategic initiatives at AmerisourceBergen Corp. and president of PharMerica Corp. He holds an MBA and bachelor's degrees in education and pharmacy.
