Steven Deitch, M.D., has been named director of medical informatics at Inteck, the company announced. Deitch, 35, will work with physicians and nurses through the electronic health-record support program of Inteck, a Denver-based healthcare information technology consulting firm. He specializes in helping hospitals to assess their organizational and technological readiness for EHR implementation, Inteck says in a news release. Deitch served previously as senior healthcare product manager at Micromedics, and was trained as a fellow in neurovirology at the University of Colorado at Denver's Health Sciences Center.
