BryanLGH Health System, Lincoln, Neb., named Kimberly Russel to succeed R. Lynn Wilson as president and chief executive officer. Russel, 48, has been president and CEO of 198-bed Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames, Iowa, since 1995.
Russel is expected to step down in early January and will tentatively join BryanLGH March 3. Prior to joining Mary Greeley Medical Center, Russel was chief operating officer at the 465-bed University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City. Wilson, 62, announced his retirement earlier this year. BryanLGH, a not-for-profit, includes the 379-bed, two-campus BryanLGH Medical Center in Lincoln. -- by Melanie Evans
