Mark Branning has been named vice president and electronic medical record practice leader of the Breakaway Group.
Branning will be responsible for helping healthcare organizations adopt EMRs using the information technology consultant's speed-to-adoption methodology, the company said in a news release. Branning has previously served in management and director positions with IDX Systems Corp., a healthcare information systems company bought last year by GE Healthcare.
