The Indiana Health Information Exchange has named Gregory Larkin to fill its new position of chief medical officer. Larkin, 58, is charged with bridging the gap between clinical settings and the organization's services, which include the Docs4Docs electronic messaging system and Quality Health First, which combines claims and clinical data from participating insurance plans and providers to help monitor patients' chronic diseases and preventive screenings.
