Suber Huang has been named medical director of ophthalmology at Digital Healthcare, the company announced.
Huang is a professor and vice chairman in the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center, Cleveland. He also serves on the executive board of directors for the American Society of Retina Specialists. In addition to his medical degree, he holds an MBA.
The Wake Forest, N.C.-based retinal risk assessment company said in a news release that Huang will use his medical expertise to advise Digital Healthcare as it continues to enhance its Retasure product, used to help doctors with patients at risk for diabetic retinopathy. -- by Jean DerGurahian/ HITS staff writer
