Mark Stevens has been appointed the first interim executive director of the Pennsylvania eHealth Initiative, which encourages the development of electronic medical records and health information exchanges statewide.
Stevens, 42, is the advocacy co-chair on the board of the Delaware Valley chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Chicago. In addition, Stevens is an executive search consultant focusing on healthcare information technology. He also has served as communications director for primary and general election campaigns at the county and state levels.
Stevens holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Vermont and attended graduate school at the University of Massachusetts. -- by Jean DerGurahian/ HITS staff writer
