Paul Ruflin has been named president and chief operating officer of Noteworthy Medical Systems. Ruflin will be responsible for developing the Cleveland-based electronic health-record company's next stage of growth, executives said in a statement.
Ruflin served previously as senior partner in Deloitte Consulting's healthcare practice. Ruflin also was president and chief executive officer of Atlanta-based Eclipsys Corp. while it brought its healthcare information technology products to market. In addition, he was COO of North American operations for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Ruflin has an MBA from Bowling Green State University and participated in the executive program of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. -- by Jean DerGurahian/ HITS staff writer
