Epstein Becker & Green has rehired Leslie Norwalk, 41, former acting administrator of the CMS, in a new role as a strategic adviser. Norwalk will be providing the law firms clients with advice on payment, regulation and other health policy issues.
Norwalk served at the CMS for nearly six years in a variety of positions directing the operations of the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Prior to the CMS, Norwalk practiced law in Epstein Becker & Greens Washington office.
We welcome Leslie back to EBG in a new strategic adviser role, said Steven Epstein, the firms founder. Her insights into healthcare policy and federal reimbursement will be extremely valuable to our clients.
In the meantime, Norwalk and her healthcare consulting firm, Norwalk and Associates, will be affiliated with EBG Advisors, a Washington consulting firm that addresses strategy and public policy issues for the healthcare industry, private-equity and investment firms, and other organizations interested in healthcare.
