Bonnie Coffey has been named president of the Association of Health Information Outsourcing Services, a Boston-based trade group whose mission is "to strengthen and enhance the health information management outsourcing industry and promote excellence in the handling and dissemination of confidential patient information," according to a news release.
Coffey is the founder, president and chief executive officer of CM Information Specialists, Fridley, Minn., a firm that specializes in document scanning, medical records management, and providing copies of medical records to hospitals, clinics and others.
