Walter Rosebrough Jr. has been named president and chief executive officer of medical equipment maker Steris, Mentor, Ohio, replacing in both positions Les Vinney, 58, who will transition to the role of special adviser, the company has announced.
Rosebrough, 53, is the former president and CEO of Hillenbrand Industries, subsidiary of Hill-Rom Co., a maker of workflow information technology software, as well as hospital beds and other medical equipment. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Kettering University, formerly the General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich., and an MBA from Stanford University. -- by Joseph Conn / HITS staff writer
