Steris, a Mentor, Ohio-based manufacturer of infection prevention and decontamination
products and equipment, has selected Walter Rosebrough Jr., 53, to serve as president and
chief executive officer.
Rosebrough will begin his tenure Oct. 1 and will take the place of Les Vinney, 53, who has
served in the positions since 2000.
Vinney will remain with Steris as a special adviser until his retirement in 2009. For the
past two years, Rosebrough has served as president and CEO of Coastal Hydraulics. Prior to
that, he held numerous executive level positions in the healthcare industry. He was
president and CEO of the healthcare start-up Vasocor and also president and CEO of the
