Arizona Health-e Connection, the states health information technology initiative, has named Brad Tritle as executive director.
Previously, Tritle was strategic initiatives manager for the not-for-profit organization whose aim, as ordered by the Arizona governor in 2005, is to achieve a statewide electronic medical-record system by 2010.
Tritle has also served as administrator of the Rural Health Information Technology Adoption Grant Program and as an adviser to the governors office on broadband development strategies, as well as stints in the private sector. -- by Rebecca Vesely/ HITS staff writer
