Mediware Information Systems has named Noel Strong chief technology officer and vice president of research and development to streamline the R&D process, standardize technology and improve efficiency. The newly created position is the first of its kind for the Lenexa, Kan.-based blood and medication management software provider, officials said.
Strong, 54, served previously as vice president of application development for the Corporate Synergies Group, Laurel, N.J. He also has worked in information technology roles at Sprint and UMB Bank. Strong has both an MBA and a bachelor's degree from Baker University, Baldwin, Kan.
