Joseph Zaccagnino has been named to the board of directors of Premise, a patient flow software company based in Farmington, Conn. He will provide strategic counsel as Premise begins a key period of growth, the company announced.
Zaccagnino, 61, is the former president and chief executive officer of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health System. He served previously as chairman of the National Committee for Quality Health Care and currently serves on the board of Covidien, a healthcare product and services company. He has a Master of Public Health in hospital administration from Yale University's School of Medicine and a bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut School of Business. -- by Jean DerGurahian/ HITS staff writer
