EDS, the Plano, Texas-based outsourcer and integrator of information technology, is to design and implement a new claims processing system for the Ohio Medicaid system under a $100.8 million, 73-month contract with the state, the company announced. The deal calls for a 36-month implementation phase. Once installed, the new system will enable providers submitting claims electronically to receive "prompt confirmation the claim has been processed and approved," according to a news release.
