Managed Health Care Associates, a group purchasing organization serving long-term-care, home-infusion and other healthcare organizations, has been acquired by the private equity firm Diamond Castle, New York.
Diamond purchased the Florham Park, N.J.-based group purchaser from investors Advent International Corp. and GTCR Golder Rauner for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition calls for no changes in MHAs leadership or staffing structure, according to an MHA news release.
We will also continue to look at additional investment opportunities to grow our company, said MHA Chief Executive Officer Doug Present in the release. No details for expansion were provided. All terms of the deal were completed Aug. 1. -- by Shawn Rhea
