Physicians Allen Hsiao and Nidhi Shah have been named chief medical information officers at the 851-bed Yale-New Haven Hospital. Hsaio received his bachelor's and medical degrees from Brown University and completed a fellowship at the Yale Center for Medical Informatics. He is an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department at Yale-New Haven Medical Center. Shah received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and a master's in public health from the Harvard University School of Public Health. She completed a fellowship in general internal medicine at 746-bed Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, where her research centered on clinical IT systems.
