Andrew Corbin, president and chief executive officer of the healthcare division of Sage Software, has resigned, the company announced Friday. Ron Verni, CEO of Sage North America and a director of the U.K.-based parent company, Sage Group, will serve as acting president and CEO of the division, effective immediately.
Corbin came to Sage in September 2006 with the acquisition of Emdeon Practice Services, a developer of physician practice management, billing and electronic medical-records systems, from Emdeon Corp., now called HLTH Corp., and formerly WebMd.
