Larry Warren, a longtime hospital and health system administrator, has been named chief executive officer of Howard University Hospital in Washington.
Warren, 60, who officially takes the reins Aug. 1, had been the interim CEO since Sherman McCoy retired in August 2006 after holding that post for about a decade.
Warren will oversee the management, operations and financial affairs of the hospital. Warren is the former CEO of the University of Michigan Hospitals. -- by Matthew DoBias
