Board members at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge, Mass., have selected Edward Moore to take the reins as the hospitals new president and chief executive officer.
Moore, currently chief operating officer of MetroWest Medical Centers Leonard Morse campus in Natick, Mass., will take over the post on July 30 from Richard Mangion, who will retire after more than 30 years of service to the 113-bed hospital. Among Moores early priorities will be shepherding Harrington through the second phase of a major expansion of the hospitals services and physical plant.
Moore holds a masters degree in healthcare administration from Georgetown University in Washington. -- by Shawn Rhea
