Houston-based Childrens Memorial Hermann Hospital named Jody Graham as its new chief operating officer, effective immediately. Graham, 38, succeeds Craig Cordola, who was promoted to chief executive officer in August 2006.
Cordola has managed the responsibilities of both roles since that time. For the past two years, Graham served as director of hospital information systems at 760-bed Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he helped develop a three-year strategic plan for implementing clinical and business technology for the hospital. He also worked on a two-year information systems plan for the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Graham earned masters degrees in health administration and business administration from Georgia State University. Memorial Hermann has 16 hospitals located in the Texas Medical Center and throughout the Houston area. -- by Jessica Zigmond
