Mike Sappington has been named chief executive officer of GloStream, Bloomfield Hills., Mich., maker of a suite of electronic medical records and physician practice management systems, the company announced Monday.
Sappington, 40, previously worked as a partner and chief operating officer of Netrex Secure Solutions, a Southfield, Mich.-based Internet security services company, which was acquired by Internet Security Systems, Atlanta, in 1999, and is now a part of IBM, according to the company and published reports.
One of the duties Sappington will undertake in addition of overall responsibility for running the company is to lead in the development of a national network of certified resellers of GloStream software. -- by Joseph Conn / HITS staff writer
