GE Healthcare named Joseph Vinhais as vice president of quality assurance and regulatory affairs for the company's Barrington, Ill.-based integrated information technology solutions division. Vinhais, 40, joined GE Healthcare in the newly created job April 2, a GE Healthcare spokesman said.
He was previously vice president of regulatory compliance at Chelmsford, Mass.-based Brooks Automation. Vinhais holds a bachelor's degree in industrial systems from Central Connecticut State University and an associates degree in quality assurance technology from Waterbury State Technical College. -- by Melanie Evans / HITS staff writer
