MedQuist announced that its president, Frank Lavelle, and it chief operating officer, Linda Reino, will be resigning "to pursue other opportunities," and that Chief Executive Officer Howard Hoffman will take over the responsibilities of president. Mark Ivie, chief technology officer, and Michael Clark, SVP of operations, will share COO responsibilities, a news release said.
The company also announced that "consistent with its ongoing efforts to streamline and enhance operational performance," there are no plans to fill either position.
