John O'Connor has been elected to the board of directors for mTuitive, a Centerville, Mass.-based developer of healthcare data capture and pathology-reporting software. He will assume the roles of special adviser to the company and board chairman, replacing Donald Emery, who will remain on the board and chair the compensation committee.
O'Connor, 59, recently retired as vice chairman of PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was responsible for the firm's audit, tax and advisory service lines, which have combined revenue of about $7 billion and about 28,000 employees. He also serves as a trustee for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, the American Ireland Fund and his alma mater, Suffolk University, Boston. -- by Andis Robeznieks / HITS staff writer
