Stephen Ura has been appointed to the new position of chief technology officer and senior vice president at Med3000, a Pittsburgh-based healthcare management and technology company.
Ura, 50, will oversee information technology strategy and operations, help develop database and reporting technology, and direct privacy and security initiatives.
Most recently, Ura worked for Allscripts as vice president of development for its HealthMatics line. Before that, he was on the board of directors for A4 Health Systems, which was purchased by Allscripts. -- by Andis Robeznieks / HITS staff writer
