Victor Samolovitch resigned as chief executive officer of Amerinet, St. Louis,
on April 27.
Todd Ebert, Amerinets president, has assumed expanded responsibilities for the
overall leadership of the group purchasing organization, officials said, with no
comment on whether there would be a search for a replacement.
After accomplishing his task of realigning Amerinet, Samolovitch decided he
wanted to return to Pittsburgh, said Amerinet spokeswoman Lisa DiMuccio-Conway.
Samolovitch, 55, was installed in the position last summer as part of a major
restructuring in which two shareholders bought out a third and then integrated
into one company.
Samolovitch was part of Amerinet from its inception in 1986. Officials praised
his leadership over the past year, crediting him with helping develop a
restructuring plan that solidly positions the organization for future success
and growth. -- by Cinda Becker
