LifePoint Hospitals, Brentwood, Tenn., said that Michael Culotta has resigned as its chief financial officer, a position he has held since November 2001. The company did not say why Culotta was leaving. A LifePoint spokeswoman could not immediately be reached for comment.
Culotta joined LifePoint after 25 years, including 12 as a partner, with accounting firm Ernst & Young.
