In an effort to strengthen its "alignment of technology strategy with business processes," San Francisco-based Blue Shield of California has appointed two new vice presidents serving information technology functions.
Anurang Revri, senior director of e-commerce and enterprise architecture, has been promoted to vice president of enterprise architecture and e-commerce solutions. Before being hired by Blue Shield in 2005, Revri worked at Charles Schwab and MphasiS, a New York City-based business process-outsourcing company.
David Arnold Jr. has been named vice president of applications and products. Before coming to Blue Shield in 2006, Arnold worked as a senior product executive for corporate IT at Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. in San Francisco. -- by Andis Robeznieks / HITS staff writer
