Lisa Wickens has been appointed to the new position of vice president of health policy initiatives at eHealth Solutions, a New York City-based developer of mobile electronic medical-record systems for nursing homes and physician practices.
Wickens, 41, had been working as the assistant director of the New York State Department of Health's Office of Health Systems Management since 2002. A registered nurse, she joined the department in 1999 after working at the Albany County Nursing Home for 14 years. In her new position, she will identify emerging trends in long-term care and work with eHealth customers to improve clinical, financial and regulatory outcomes. -- by Andis Robeznieks / HITS staff writer
