Bob Elson, 49, has been named the new chief medical officer for software and clinical content provider Eclipsys Corp., replacing Diane Gilbert Bradley, who now serves as the companys chief quality and outcomes officer.
Most recently, Elson was the founder of Clinical Systems Design, a healthcare information technology consultancy. Before that, he was the vice president, medical affairs at RxHub.
