Robert Gallo II, the outside legal counsel to Med3000 for seven years, has been named executive vice president and general counsel at the Pittsburgh-based software developer. Gallo has provided outside legal counsel to Med3000 over the past seven years and will now represent the company's legal affairs in-house.
He has had a close working relationship with the company for quite some time, and having concentrated his law practice on technology clients, securities, and merger and acquisition related matters, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to facilitate our growth," said Patrick Hampson, chairman and chief executive officer of Med3000 in a news release.
Gallo has an undergraduate degree in accounting from John Carroll University in University Heights, Ohio, and is a graduate of Duquesne University Law School of Pittsburgh and a MBA from Duquesne University School of Business. He most recently has been a partner at the Pittsburgh law firm of Reed Smith.
