A federal judge sentenced Robert Urciuoli, former president and chief executive officer of 146-bed Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence, R.I., to three years in prison for bribing a state legislator to advance the hospital’s interests, the Associated Press reported. The legislator, former state Sen. John Celona, was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
