Gov. M. Jodi Rell today announced that Connecticut has been awarded a $5 million federal grant to support more widespread use of electronic health records, improve quality of care and reduce the potential for medical errors.
"The quality of Connecticut doctors, nurses, hospitals and other medical providers is second to none," Rell said. "We are also a leader in information technology. So it is natural to bring healthcare and IT together to better serve the people of Connecticut."
