Geoffrey Smith, a Casper, Wyo., radiologist, hopes, along with the Wyoming Health Information Organization to get other health professionals in the state using electronic medical records and linked to a regional health information exchange network so information can be shared.
He said if healthcare providers can do this, it will be more efficient and more cost-effective.
