Former Acting Deputy National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Robert Wah, 49, has been appointed vice president and chief medical officer of Computer Sciences Corp.'s federal sector business unit. In this newly created position, Wah will work with federal and state health IT agencies as well as with the El Segundo, Calif.-based consultants healthcare-sector businesses.
Wah, who served for 23 years in the Navy Medical Corps and achieved the rank of captain, has worked for the Military Health System in the Office of the Secretary of Defense and served as its associate chief information officer.
