Affiliated Computer Services, Dallas, an information technology vendor, said it will pay $30 million to purchase Albion, Atlanta, which specializes in integrated software solutions for the health and human services markets. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including the consent of current Albion customers, officials said. The deal was made by ACS State and Local Solutions, a wholly owned ACS subsidiary, and Albions owner, Cambridge Solutions. Joining ACS will enable our organization to continue focusing on our existing customers while expanding the breadth of our services for the future, Albion President Rob Marchant said in a news release. -- by Michael Romano
