Merge Technologies, Milwaukee, doing business as Merge Healthcare, named Steven Norton as chief financial officer to succeed Scott Veech, who resigned in early July along with the publicly traded companys interim chief executive officer following internal and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission inquiries into improper accounting and financial disclosures, according to the medical imaging and information software developer's financial statements.
Norton, who started with Merge Jan. 8, was previously senior vice president and chief financial officer of Manhattan Associates, a supply-chain management software and systems company. -- by Melanie Evans
