Nashville ambulances are now able to transmit electrocardiogram findings
to emergency departments while en route to hospitals,
speeding up treatment to heart-attack patients by up to 30
minutes and hopefully saving lives.

Bureau's assistant chief, said the technology helps
emergency room doctors determine whether a heart attack is
taking place before a patient even gets to the hospital.
