The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society named the winners of its 2006 Nicholas E. Davies Awards for Excellence in implementing and using healthcare information technology. They include: the Center for Behavioral Health, Bloomington, Ind.; Generations+/Northern Manhattan Health Network, New York; the New York State Environmental Public Health Tracking Network, Albany; and the Texas Department of State Health Services. The award also will be bestowed on three physician organizations: Alpenglow Medical, Fort Collins, Colo.; Cardiology of Tulsa (Okla.); and Piedmont Physicians Group, Atlanta.
