NCH Healthcare System, Naples, Fla., named its president, Allen Weiss, 59, to succeed Chief Executive Officer Edward Morton, effective Sept. 27. Weiss continues to serve as president, as well. Morton, who became NCH's top executive in 2000 after more than 25 years as its chief financial officer, announced his retirement in August 2005. NCH owns 400-bed Naples Community Hospital and 120-bed North Collier Hospital, Naples. Weiss, an internal medicine physician, joined the system in 2000 as executive vice president of medical affairs.
