Jeffery Wajda, vice president of clinical support services for Bellevue, Wash.-based Lynx Medical Systems, has been appointed to the American College of Emergency Physicians' Coding and Nomenclature Advisory Committee.
Wajda has been assigned to a subcommittee advocating for emergency-medicine issues through the American Medical Association's Current Procedural Terminology, or CPT, process; the Medicare Carrier Advisory Network; and through CMS development of faculty and physician documentation guidelines.
An osteopath, Wajda is a board-certified emergency physician with more than 18 years of clinical experience. Located in Bellevue, Wash., Lynx is a provider of emergency medicine documentation and revenue-management solutions. Wajda's responsibilities at Lynx include clinical software and coding services product development and serving as a liaison to the international healthcare community. Lynx announced in July that Wajda had joined the company.
