Twenty-five laptop computers stolen from Iowa Methodist Medical Center, DesMoines, have turned up on eBay.
The computers, stolen over the past month, were kept in a locked room. They were taken before they were issued to employees, hospital spokeswoman Jennifer Perry said. Perry said none of the computers had sensitive information on them. They were valued at $53,000.
Perry said the computers have yellow stickers identifying the hospital as the owner. Some of the computers were bought online. Police Lt. David Huberty declined to discuss the investigation. No arrests have been made.
